☕ Daily Brew #009 — Adrenaline Aftermath
Yesterday hit hard.
The kind of hard that dumps adrenaline straight into your bloodstream and takes over your body. 🫀⚡
Not pacing.
Not racing thoughts.
A full physical surge—panic, overheating, sweating so intensely I had to strip layers off just to cool down.
My nervous system went into emergency mode all at once.
I crashed at 4 PM.
Woke up at 11:18 PM like my body said, “Okay. Now we can reset.”
Since then?
Cleaning. 🧹
Resetting.
Putting things back where they belong.
The house is calm now.
Laundry was the last thing—and it’s already handled. 🧺
Which means my mind finally gets to exhale.
Now I can focus.
Website work. 💻
Cooking. 🍳
Reading. 📖
Learning—especially how to never let my body reach that level of adrenaline again.
No shame in the crash.
No judgment for the recovery.
Just information gathered and systems adjusted.
I’m not avoiding life.
I’m reinforcing my foundation. 🪑
And right now?
I’m steady.
That’s enough to start the day. ☕✨
